The question, how does the black marker pre-shading look? Obviously I would need to control my line a little better if I'm going to do this on all of them, I was just in a hurry to get a concept. Is it too dark/obvious? Is it not enough? Is it the wrong color to look realistic? Obviously I'll need to do something for the edges, probably white+yellow edge highlights. Would I just be better served by dunking them in dip instead of trying this? How about the preshade + yellow + dip? Got any suggestions beyond the limited scope of the poll? I'm aiming for something quick. I'm not looking to do a bucketful of these at the moment, but they're a side project's side project, so something fast and efficient would be great.

Thanks in advance!

Hmm tough one. It's tricky to get a quick good yellow. I'd be tempted to just go with the dip and then a really striking edge highlight. maybe 50/50 bleached bone / skull white? Or even pure white, depending on how the yellow comes out. Oh and I've been perusing your Blog, I really like your Corperation.

Yeah I think I'm going to dip both as soon as I get the chance and see what happens. The severe edge highlight is an interesting idea. I can either dip them really dark or just lightly with available stains.

And thanks for the corporation comment. I like them too, a bit tedious but worth if in the end. I do try to keep things moving over there, as possible.
