I'll try!
AsmodeusDM wrote:- The Khador Shocktroopers were in Shield Wall formation when an AoE blast from the Menoth 'jack missed and deviated behind the shocktroopers. Since the blast is originating from behind the models (but the original firing 'jack is in front) does the Shield Wall
ARM bonus apply?
No. If an AoE scatters then the point of origin of the blast damage is where the shot scattered to, so if it's in the model's back arc it won't receive the Shield Wall bonus.
AsmodeusDM wrote:- The Repenter's spray flame thrower. Does the continuous:fire effect get applied if the enemy model is hit, but the damage is completely negated by the armor?
Yes. Continuous Fire triggers when a model is "hit" by the attack.
AsmodeusDM wrote:- more on the flaming sprays... does Shield wall work against sprays? What about the continuous damage (the POW 12 from the fire)?
Shield Wall will work against the spray if it's not coming from the back arc. Note here that you're only considered to be in the back arc if the point of origin of the attack (the Repenter, in this case) has been in the model's back arc for the attacking model's entire activation, so if the Repenter moves into the back arc and fires they'll still get the Shield Wall bonus.
The continuous damage is a bit different. The Shield Wall order only lasts for one round, so it drops off at the start of your turn, before you take the fire damage. As a result you never have the Shield Wall bonus against continuous fire.
AsmodeusDM wrote:- My Juggernaut took down his Crusader 'jack in one turn. I allocated 3 focus to the Juggernaut, then used Boundless Charge on it. It charged in (for free) and then used the Free-boost on the Ice Axe, plus the open, and the three focus to make 3 more bonus attacks with the Ice Axe.. which put his heavy jack into a wreck... That seemed pretty powerful, did we play it right?
That sounds like you did it right, yes, as long as you were only applying the charge boost to the first attack. Powerful attacks like the Juggernaut's can wreck things quickly.
AsmodeusDM wrote:- If your warcaster is knocked down... can he/she still cast spells? If you stand and move can you still cast a spell? If you stand and shoot (or melee) can you still cast spells?
A knocked down model cannot cast spells, among other things. If s/he's knocked down you have two options:
- spend a focus in the Control phase to shake knockdown, allowing hir to activate without further penalty, or
- sacrifice hir movement or action to stand up, in which case s/he will still be able to cast spells
AsmodeusDM wrote:- Can a stationary warcaster (aka one frozen by Sorscha's feat) allocate/use focus?
Yes. They can also spend a focus to shake the Stationary effect in the Control phase, just like knockdown (jacks can do this too, if you give them a focus to do it with). Note that you can't remove Stationary by sacrificing your movement or action, though - the only way to get rid of it is to shake it in the Control phase.
