I recently started collecting Necrons and iám trying to build my first army list 1500-1850 points. This list is designed to play in my local Games Workshop mostly against space marine players.(But i want the list to be allround). I have been collecting CSM for a long time now but when it comes to Necrons i have no idea what iám doing. I took a break from the hobby for several months and started this new army. These are my models and the list i came up with.

I would really like some feedback on tactics/list build and next buy to expand my army.

I see what you mean about the Synergy what about Obyron running with the 6x Wraiths?

My plan with the Veil of Darkness tek with 9 Deathmarks is transport them with the Nightscythe deploy shoot and next turn use the veil of darkness to get to move to another enemy unit to shoot or get to safety. Iám thinking about taking 2x 5 deathmarks so i can mark 2x enemy units.

Not sure what to do with the necron lord maybe strip him of the expensive gear and jsut use him as a 2+ AS in the front of the warriors?

Think i buy a Destroyer lord sounds like a great plan.

As for my main plan for the army. I like the idea of many infantry units and focus on shooting. But supported by 6 wraiths and Scarabs to avoid my warriors/immortals from being assaulted to easy. Iám not into tournaments or anything just like to create an allround list to play with in my local GWS, but i like it to be strong and fun to play for me and my opponent aswell.

What are your thoughts on deathmarks with Despair tek?
I understand the problem with pairing Obyron with the wraiths it's a bit stupid to slow the wraiths down when you want them in CC ASAP.

I do not own any spiders and iám not really interested in getting any tbh. Would like to focus on infantry mainly. Thinking of gettign a repair barge.

Ok besides the uselessnes of Obyron and the smaller deathmark size does this list look balanced and ok to work with ?

Thanks all for the comments. I changed the list a bit. Upped it to 1850 points and added another flyer and split the deathmarks in two smaller squads both with Despair tek.
Zathras i uderstand your point about the scarabs being a firstkill magnet thinking of removing them from the list.
About Zandy and Oby i really want to field them and learn how to play with them as soon as possible. But i see where you are coming from starting with the basics sounds like a good plan. I will probably make another list without special characters aswell.
Altho i don't think Zandrekhs special rules are that hard to grasp, Obyron on the other hand seems a bit more difficult.

Just ordered my destroyer lord think the prize was a bit high but i really want it for my wraith squad.

Ok it hurt my heart but i removed Obyron from the list (i can't really fit him in there, like all of you suggested before) and put in the destroyer lord with MSS and sempiternal weave to go infront of the wraiths to soak up damage. I removed the scarabs and now i end up with 60 points laying around. I used them to deck out my normal lord with pretty much everything except Tezzeract Labirinth. I don't see any other way to spent the points maybe give a cryptek something? Could give both despair teks Veil of Darkness but seems a bit likea waste for a suicide unit.

The lord is in the front of the squad and uses his 2+ save to protect the wraiths and you can look out sir if you want to use the 3++ save from the wraiths. Also gives prefered enemy.

Ofc it's not something you throw at anything and have to play it carefully. But i think it has a lot of potentiel to combo those two.

Another cryptek is a nice idea. I could stick a Storm cryptek with lightning field with Zahndrekh and the 10 immortals.

mmm nevermind that. I can't use another cryptek all groups already have a lord or a cryptek in them.

Anymore tips or tactics going to complete this list and get some games in soon.
