A side project to make a fairly imposing Warboss for my mate in time for his birthday. Using the Trollbloods Diretroll blitzer/bomer/mauler kit. Also bought in the Rok upgrade kit, he likes to run cheesy lists from time to time(to frequently in fact) so ....

Warboss Ol'cheese beard is in creation.



Done some removing of the plastic rocks from the shoulder, going well so far. This boss will in the end have a power klaw to match his size on the left arm, a large shoota in the right, boss pole and attack squig. Although by the looks of things I'll need to greenstuff the squig.

Done a little more work here between work and my Eldar stuff. Managed to end up with this right fist on my 3rd attempt, first time trying to greenstuff a hand, well at least a whole hand. The idea is that he'll be holding a chain with the attack squig pushing/jumping fowards. ... or maybe chewing on some eldar if I can fit it in.





Yet to add the finger nails to it.

Also tried to give it ears and a nose, just looks like a bat to me. Think I'll start again on this part. Maybe shorter ears. Apart from looking at ork faces and greenstuff scuplts from others I cant seem to get it just right. Must be on try 15 with the nose at this point.

So I finally got around to finishing this Boss.

Re did the ears on the face and added a tiny little more to the nose so doesnt look all bat like.

C&C please. Never made an ork properly before. Made dead ones, or bits here and there. Plus a basic boy hiding under some building(if you've followed my Eldar thread) so totally out of my depth/experience on modeling. I think that's why it took so long. First time doing it, and was really fun tbh. Really, REALLY! want to keep this guy but must part ways with it.

oh, there will be a squig, either a greenstuffed one or the GW stock "the chase" one, the large one. Will post it up if I greenstuff one, but if I go GW stock then..well... ..you all know what that looks like.

Excellent work, I think you did a great job, though the arm positioning could be more dynamic I feel, but that's a minor niggle.
