I play Sisters and was looking at using the Condemnor Boltgun, but the Psi-Shock special rule threw me off.
Checking the Sisters codex/White Dwarf, their Psi-Shock rule states the psyker suffers a Perils of the Warp after taking an unsaved wound by the boltgun. However, checking the Grey Knights codex it seems their Condemnor Boltguns (and Mindstrike Missiles) also have the same Psi-Shock rule, but that entry states the psyker suffers a perils after being hit by the boltgun (which is many times greater than the Sisters version).
Is this just a case of the Sisters codex coming out prior to the Grey Knight one?
Seeing as both the boltguns have the same profile between the two codices is this just being overlooked and needing an FAQ?

Unless there's an FAQ, the GK ones are inherently better.

rigeld2 is correct. There are lots of things that change between Codexes and more commonly between editions, that aren't updated in the older Codexes until they get a new book.
Examples include the basic cost of a Tactical Marine, flakk missile availability, and Harlequins between the Eldar/Dark Eldar Codexes.

The crossboltgun is mentioned in the FAQ, but the Mindstrike Missiles don't appear to be mentioned anywhere. Did I miss it?

no. Those are ballin'. But while I can understand problem with the condemnor, as it is one piece of wargear with two different profiles otherwise, the mindstrike missiles are a different item entirely. Also, in my group mindstrike are useless. I use my bird to shoot down other birds, so the normal missiles would clearly be better.
