Hello,

my name is Adam and I am from Czech Republic. I am virgin in WH40k so please patient with me.

Here is my story: One day I went to game store to check some games for PC. There was a shelf in corner with old books and I saw a Imperial Guard Codex. It was 5th edition, but that time I din' t even know what does mean. I asked: Hey, what' s that? And my way through WH40k began!

After reading few topics about armies in WH40k and after few books, I picked up IG - Catachans

In next days I am gonna make a topic in 40K Army Lists, because I want create catachan's infantry army and that is a quiet difficult. So I would need help of you experienced guys. And yes I am ready to suffer during painting :-D

Welcome. I myself play the wonderfull Catachans. Too bad you can't pick up the older metal models. The newer plastics can be good, but, you need to prefit before you glue.

Can't wait to see what list you come up with and help you out. Be sure to list what you have available.

Being an IG player, the things that you should get:

1. Infantry, either a a platoon or vets
2. Chimeras
3. Valkyries/vendettas
4. Leman russ tanks (the demolisher kit is best right now)

Well my problem is, I am trying do infantry only. Something like "vietnam" "rambo" style. So my options are in a big blob, vets, PSC, vendettas and WHT. Just don' t know where is the best way to get some anti tank weapons.
