Hi All,

I have recently purchased a Chaos Space Marine army and was looking to paint them but the only schemes that I really like are the following ones from the GW site in their black and blue. Could anyone help me identify the colors that I will need to buy, preferably in Vallejo Model Air?

First potential scheme is the CSM Raptors from GW;

Second one, which I think I like more is the CSM Warp Talons from GW;

So, what colors do I need - thinking if I had nothing and I guess including washes and not wanting to mix anything having a pot of every color so I dont need to worry about replicating the same color each painting session.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Imperial Blue seems to be base color, with some variant of Ice Blue and White for lightning.

As for the gold, just use a gold metallic and put a brown wash over it and it should be that color.

best way though is to check the colors in the back of the box.

Macragge blue. Black wash. Sycorax bronze, scar white. Abaddon black Mephiston/Khorne red. Gryphon gold. With these colours you should be able to mix everything you need for nightlords raptors
