I'm trying to find a side by Side picture of a BF Cromwell with the newly released PSC ones...?

Any early adopters out there lurking on the board?

I had a good look at the sprue while I was there but I didn't buy any.

Why yes I was. In fact according to Will I was the very first person to buy a box.

I've just assembled one. I've just tried out the new PSC spray on it (very impressive) and the new Vallejo green wash (waiting for it to dry but looking good sofar) Sadly I don't have any Battlefront Cromwell's to to place it alongside. I could place it along another BF model for you, or perhaps a PSC Sherman? Or if you want I could just give you the dimensions.

Its a beauty of a model...

EDIT -Did anyone see the Youtuber mighty-Jingles (War Thunder and WoT fame)? He was dressed in a Black SS uniform and looked like "George Galloway in a Facist Uniform" , WG had him removed from the site apparently because of the Uniform. Got to be honest, wearing an SS Uniform for fun, is Crass and immature in the extreme.

Can't say I did. I've no issue with someone wearing an SS uniform in the right context, say at a re-enactment or some other demonstration of WW2 uniforms/eqipment. But to wear one for laughs at a wargmes show is pretty silly.

I used to have that one and a few others,Wiking Division ,Dak and the 101st Airborne. You should see the looks you get at the MAll wearing them .

Nevermind about the Jingles thing...

Anyway I've used the same Benchmark of a Sherman to compare with my Cromwell... I think it is very close and would be indistinguishable once I painted them up.

PSC has not released a construction sheet for the Cromwell on their website.

Can we have a rundown on what variants can be made. Most PSC kits have several variants included, which ones exist for the Cromwell. Most importantly can a Challenger be made from this kit?

Unfortunately not, I believe there's a thread on this somewhere. The chassis suspension and turret are all different in the Challenger so although it's the same general "design" they would need to fit a second, almost entirely separate, model on the sprue.

You can build the 75mm gun armed versions and 95mm CS armed.

The Challenger, though using Cromwell parts had a different hull, lengthened with additional road wheels and a new turret.

So it's not a Cromwell variant but a different vehicle.
