Our local scene usually plays 1500 points, sometimes up to 2000. My current list has earned a reputation for tabling my opponents I would like to put together a hard hitting & less intimidating list for friendly play.

Current list
Farseer on bike conceal+guide+random
2 warlocks on bikes with conceal

3 troops
6 bikes with 2 cannons joined by a warlock or the farseer (x3)

3 Fast attack
8 warp spiders (x3)

3 Heavy Support
FirePrism, Holofields Ghostwalk Matrix (x3)

Our local Scene is light on flyers, and I am leaning towards a mech list. Suggestions?

I play eldar as well and have a fire prism! I love it but there is no need for 3. 2 is enough. They are skimmers so you dont need ghost matrix. Also I know warp spiders are amazing but you could take out one squad of them and add a crimson hunter.

does seem a little spammy.

while redundancy is awesome that much will cause even the best players problems, if you want to lose the reputation and just enjoy your games a little more i would look at losing at least one squad of both the bikes and the spiders and losing a fire prism and dropping the ghost walks and that frees up quite a lot of point to do other stuff with and take units which maybe perhaps aren't the most effective but you've always wanted to use and could take just for the sake of enjoying them...

of course smashing the face of your opponent is fun sometimes especially if they're and ass hole but it can get dull and boring very quickly if your always tabling some one turn 3 or what ever.

mix it up a little and you'll probably still win but it gives you some fun along the way too.

How are you getting conceal on the Farseer?

But looks a solid list. Personally I feel the GWMs on the Prisms are wasted points. I would consider swapping a Prism for BL War Walkers as you are low against AV14.

How many points is this? 1500?

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com

list looks solid. 3 war walkers would be a nice add. Guide is a lot more useful when you're twin linking 24 scatter lasers, 6 bright lances or whatnot.

Good catch on the Conceal / FarSeer I originally had a warlock in the unit but dropped it at the suggestion of another local player.

GWM have been a huge benefit for me, we play on good boards with plenty of terrain, the ability to end in a forest or on top of a ruined building is nice.

the fire prism is a str9 lance, it tends to do well against AV14 plus it has the other 2 fire modes.

For this list I will drop a prism and add a jetlock and spinner battery, like I originally had it configured.

However i am looking for a different beast altogether, more serpents and such.
