As the title suggests.

Tried to do some priming today and it came out very grainy. Local temperature was around 30 Celcius and very dry

Likely just adjusting spray distance was all you needed to do. That weather sounds great for spraying to me.

As long as you keep it out of direct sunlight while it dries it should be alright.
