I tried googling it but I couldn't find a good answer. I added some Fenrisian Wolves and Thunderwolf Cavalry to my Guard list, but when I was looking at the GW blue/grey paints I saw three that might be the right color - the Fang, Fenrisian Grey and Russ Grey. Which is the right color?

Also, would you recommend a black or white primer for the Marines? For reference, my guard are in blue and white snow camo and the wolves will be white with grey dry brushing.

Fenrisian grey is the colour for the armour and I use black primer then a coat of standard mechanicus grey. White would just make the fenrisian grey a really light baby blue lol

According to fluff, they're suppose to be 'wolf grey'. So however you interpret that. I do a neutral-ish grey rather than the robin's egg blue the studio uses.

This is what I've been using for my Space Wolves:

This was done with my airbrush, but the colors come out about the same
The basecoat is The Fang, followed a 45 degree spritzing of Russ Grey, with a 0 to 10 degree (or thereabouts, I wasn't good at math) shot of Fenrisian Grey.

For the TWC and wolves, I would suggest a midtone brown, wash with Agrax, paint up with a lighter brown and then drybrush the tips a nice frosty grey (probably not one of the three "wolf" paints used above).
