I was away for a week decorating my grandmothers house I've come home and hit a wall. Its happened before but never to the extreme.

Start painting, just one model. Just one colour. Do a little every day. It'll come back.

I hit the wall at bit ago, got back in to by setting myself a small challenge of paint two minis a night and it worked.

As Falhurk said, one model, one colour. Or several models, one colour. Seems from your post you want to paint everything, not that you can't convince yourself to paint. If thats the case, pick the most boring stuff you can find: things it would normally be difficult to get up the energy to paint.

I feel the same way from time to time. My deathwing and IG squads are just sitting there, primed, but looking at me with askance.

What has helped me in the past is to break it down into what needs to be done first or what you can paint to complete something the fastest.

Example; if you need to paint 5 bikes to complete your ravenwing army, but need 2 squads of choosen and some other things to complete your chaos army, do the raven wing first.

Completing quick or simple tasks/projects gives you that push to complete other, more strenuous or time consuming tasks. And as the others have said, start with just one color a night, or even one piece like eyes or guns or helmets or a squad.

Hope this helps,

Cheers
