If a wolf lord on a thunderwolf with a storm shield and wolf claw assaults, he gets base 4 + 1 for being on a thunderwolf +1 for the assault and + however many models he killed in the previous assault for the saga right?
So long as by "assault" you mean "assault phase" then yes.
Just clarifying as I've seen new SW players think it was in the entire previous combat (as in one that last two player turns) instead of just the last turn's assault phase as stated by the rules.
