Well, I've been relearning how to paint. I think I can say I've now LEARNED now to paint. Now it's about mastering it.

I entered the Testament of Menoth into the Master Painter's event and won silver for best single mini (small/medium based). Everything that the competitors submitted were beautiful, so it's really an honor. The Butcher of Khardov that won was stellar, so definitely deserved its medal. Still, I'm quite proud of this fellow. Click my blog and look at the marines I painted less than a year ago, now this.

It feels really good.

Yeah. It's a slick coin.

The other side is a series of smoke stacks with the smoke shaped like claws. "Coal and Claw" after all. It's exactly 50mm wide so can be used to mark the exact size of a large based model in Warmachine (wreck marker, checking if you fit between two models, etc).

The Testament is basically evil, oppressive Moses. He carries the words of the god of Law and he makes you follow them, or else.
