re: Hymn

If you choose the Hymn action as your activation, then all models in the unit must use Hymn.

A warjack can't be subject to more than one Hymn at a time.

However, does each model in the Choir unit get to do a Hymn against a different warjack?

i.e.

I have 3 warjacks more or less around a choir unit. I use Hymn and model A uses it on Warjack 1, model B uses it on Warjack 2, model C uses it on Warjack 3, models D and E twiddle their thumbs.

All models in the unit that choose to do a hymn must do the same hymn, but not every model must do a hymn.

With your example, yes each choir member can target a different warjack, so you can target all three warjacks with the same hymn. The other 2 models however can still do their normal actions (attack something) if they choose not to sing.

With how effectively they attack things, yes, they twiddle their thumbs.

You have the gist of it.

Each Choir boy can effect 1 jack with the unit's chosen hymn. The rest can act as normal.

Note you can't use a Hymn and also charge as the Hymn is an action.
