Hey guys well I sort some stuff out with the other model I am making I figured I start work on my bone breaker. Still tons to do just the 2 day of scaling it out. Any advice would be loved.

So now that you see the ROUGH work I need some advice. He fits on a rat ogre base... 40mm I think it is called. I leant him a bit more forward so I can put a bit of a throne or something for a warlord to sit/ride on. The right arm "your left" is going to be skyre and the other is going to be muscle.

Questions I need help with:

1: Now the right arm is a bit of a problem concept wise, I want it to have armour not just gears, but I need to show some. How many would be to many?

2: Should the end be a claw, a mace with chains attached to it or a sword/spear thing?

3: Should the right arm be really stich filled or just muscle?

4: Should I carry the skyre theme over half the body "head arm leg ect" Or just to localized areas?

5: What should the warlord ride on/in. Ideas I was messing with are a throne of skaven skulls. Just hanging on with chains around the bonebreaker. Or other ideas would be loved.

6: Anything else you can think of to add.

BTW once he is done I am cutting him up to cast in pieces so I can change the pose as needed. Depending on the gear he has in the end I will need to change the pose slightly.

7: Basing idea / pose "keep in mind the rider"

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Starting to work on the head and upper chest area now. Think it should be done soon, another couple days then will be adding the final detail. The upper back is a bit high I noticed after the pics will need to trim some.

Still need advice on my above questions if anyone wants to give their 2 cents. The head is still a bit rough and needs to be...meaner

Here the first pics pre head

Now here is it after the head and shoulder got a bit more work done.

Well this will be the 3rd last post. This is the final post you will see of the work in progress after this will be adding the tail, the rest of the patch mark of fur then adding some detail on the armour.

The back legs are in the shape/postion ect I want just need to add a little detail to them and so on.

After that I will be working on the chair/howdah or what ever you want to call it. Model will be molded and copied then painted before "before" the chair.

Looks really good I'd be very pleased with myself if this was my first skulpt I cant zoom in on the images with photobucket but looking really nice. Just keep working at them and hit up tutorials and vids of other skulptors.

I'd say the most places I have improved from are simply from watching others and stealing tricks and techniques.

Favourite Game: When your Warboss on bike wrecks 3 vehicles simply by HoW - especially when his bike is a custom monowheel.
