I apologize if this is not the correct forum, I just had a question about Tau marker drone models. Just about every model seems to have the ability to take a marker drone but hardly any, not even the drone squadron kit, come with them. The stealth team is the only kit I have noticed so far that come with marker drones. So to other Tau players out there, where does one acquire more marker drones without having an insane surplus of stealth suits? Thanks!

Make them.
Attach spare antennae bits to a gun drone where the guns would go.

Use as marker drones.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I make mine from a gun drone, battlesuit flamer and target lock with a multi-tracker to add some extra's on.

Will try and remember to post a pic or a guide later on. Its fairly easy to do and takes about 3 cuts with a few spares.

The new pathfinder and XV88 kits come with options for marker drones as well.
XV88 for example has two drone "heads" (the disc art), three antennas and different options for the lower part (2x missile drone, 1x gun drone, 1x (new) marker drone (slightly different to the one from the XV25), 1x shield drone)

For pathfinders it's similar: 3 discs (if I remember right) and lower parts for gun, shield, marker, pulse and grav inhibitor.

In addition I've seen different tutorials to build your own marker drones by using bits from other Tau models.
