I just rip a bit off that's nice and manageable. I usually cut out a longer cube shape (just run your scissors passed a blister pack spong, and you'll have an end to hold as well).

The rip a few bits off one end to make it irregularly shaped. You can continue makeing your way to the end by ripping off the bits that have hardened paint on it after a while.

Great work. Nice to see the Tau a little dirty as opposed to the clean lines they are usually painted with.

Yes!! thank you for not going overboard with OSL on a Riptide, it just makes them look tacky! Excellent paint here!

"You are like a son and together we have all but conquered the galaxy. Now the time has come for me to retire to Terra. My work as a soldier is done and now passes to you for I have great tasks to perform in my earthly sanctum. I name you Warmaster and from this day forth all of my armies and generals shall take orders from you as if the words came from mine own mouth. But words of caution I have for you for your brother Primarchs are strong of will, of thought and of action.

Seriously i love those tau, just legendary. Normally i do not like "real" camo patterns on tau, they feel "right" to me if painted futuristic. But this? Awsum!! Espeacially the weathering <3 and the rocks on the bases are beautiful.

Sadly, you forogt the sensor fin on the riptides head :/

I love the basing. Your skill is very evident in the work on this Riptide. Objectively, you've done a wonderful job. Personally, it isn't my cup of tea. I don't like my Tau in drab colors or with battle damage, since I think it detracts from the vibrant, energetic feel of the army.

I especially love the exhaust darkening on the back. Great paint job. I like the different style of paint job. Good work.
