Subject: Eldar Enhance/Drain question
|
 |
Morphing Obliterator
|
1. Can Enhance be used on a unit using Unwieldy weapons to make them Initiative 2 in combat?
2. Can Drain be used on an enemy unit using Unwieldy weapons to make them Initiative 0 in combat (and unable to attack)?
I would say the answer to both questions is probably no, but worth asking anyway!

Unwieldy is, IIRC, a "set" modifier.
You'd add/reduce the initiative of the target, then strike at I 1 because of the unwieldy rule

1.) No
2.) No
It affects the characteristic of the model, not of individual attack types.

Actually it is because of the set modifier being applied llast - Unwieldy, in this case - as per page 2 or 3, from memory.

Even if Drain could apply after Unwieldy, per the FAQ, they would still go at I1.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
