On a Canoptek Spyder's Waiting List
|
So I'm thinking about running 3x heavy destroyer to diversify my list. Jump infantry Lascannons that Reroll ones seems pretty good.
Here's a sample 1500 that I'm looking at for a tournament.
Dlord - mss, sw
5x tesla immortals - NS
10x warriors - NS
10x warriors - NS
6x wraiths - 3 whip coils
3x heavy destroyer
3x annihilation barge
I figure I'll DS the destroyers if I feel an alpha strike coming, and try to lead assault units on a merry chase.
I was also thinking about switching the Warriors to 15 and 5, so if I feel like I need it, I can have more bodies on the board to start.

One of my friends plays a pretty similar list, with great effect. Wraiths, Barges, D-Lords, Scythes, and Heavy Destroyers are (in my opinion) the nastiest things in the Codex. You should beat some face with that list.

See if you can fight a Triarch Stalker in and also give it Heavy Gauss Cannon. It is a TL s9 AP2 weapon that, if it hits, makes everything that shoots at that target TL for the turn. That means that you reroll those 2's, and re-roll the 1's because you hate EVERYTHING. Use Nemesor to give them Tank Hunters, and that Land Raider is dead.

You can only ever Reroll a die once.

pretty sure hes not talking about rerolling a reroll. just ment that preferred enemy it auto covers the 1s so you can reroll your 1s, and since they hit everything on a 3+ the stalker will let them reroll those 2s they miss as well. add in tank hunters and that set up allows you to reroll missed hits and missed armour pens Or glances! (dont like your glance? reroll for that pen! buahaha why i love running a rune priest and logan with a long fang pack)
