Can daemonic possession affect psykers in a vehicle??

A: No.

As 11 is a Ld test (on 3D6) embarked models are exempt. For some reason.

I wish they would sort out transport vehicles and passengers once and for all. These questions get asked with virtually every book.

It is quite a wide ranging FAQ, to affect all leadership tests for effects and psyhic powers

Fuusa, not sure what you mean, it is pretty clear? although daemons do need a FAQ but this isnt high on my wish list!

Well, we have been on a bit of a roller-coaster for a few editions now re passengers (apologies, this is a bugbear of mine).
In 4th no-one thought passengers even existed in transports when, if you dug around in the rules, they were "on the table" though few believed it.

In 5th, we had mechanisms to abstractly measure to/from an embarked unit and so the majority view thought the unit was on the table, when the book said that it clearly wasn't.

Now we have a slightly wishy washy rewording that seems to say a unit is removed from the table when it embarks (which in this case would render the unit immune to "11"), though its put in a way that also could be construed as simply removing the models.

Added to this, we have the mechanism to measure to the embarked unit from outside, making all sorts of things possible, such as "bubble effects" interacting with them, but these are pretty universally faqued to not work, with little to no explanation.

It just seems that no-matter what the rules actually say, it will eventually be faqued NO.

I think they are on the table in sixth as we can use fire points to fire out of off, overwatch from open topped vehicles and disembark etc. But then they are fearless while embarked and immune to any leadership tests.

Most of that has been true throughout these changes though.
There can be no doubt that the unit is there, but on table literally or just in an abstract sense, or in rules terms not on the table and simply "there" in the sense that they can interact with the game, but to what extent?

For eg, in 5th, we had embarked units are "removed from the table" in the same edition that measuring to/from them was introduced they could use fire points and even claim objectives.
When encountering bubble effects the rulebook said yes, the faq's said no. Same old now ...
