I missed the points for the turret for the ADL. One level of Mastery from the lord will compensate. Is it necessary at this point value?

U need to give your preds what your 1ksons can not fulfill, anti tank by giving them side lascannons. What is the point of your adl without a quad gun or even a icarus lascannon? give up one pred to to give the last 2 side lasercannon. Give up 1 marine from each squad to buy a quad gun.

14+75+23+23=135pts enough to buy pred upgrades and adl quad gun.

& I am waiting for daly to tell you to get 2 drakes. Consider spawns or ally with daemons to get a psycher with divinstion to give your inferno bolters ignore cover.

I've been looking at getting a Drake, but I think at 1k its a bit too much. Ill drop a Predator and put lascannon sponsons on the remaining 2.

Well, the 1ksons will provide you the ap3, if you can get divination which is not available to csm, unless you ally daemons, ig, etc... Then the inferno bolts can ignore cover if you can roll for it. that is why I did not suggest a drake.

So what do you plan to do with the adl? Give up a cultist squad to get a quadgun. Or give up two 1ksons.

Give sorcerer a Spell Familiar...it could save you from a Perils (double 6) and make casting powers a lot more reliable.

Also, I have a Thousand Sons army and rather than predators, maybe some Obliterators and a Hell Drake would do better for you...They really help in ways that my Thousand Sons struggle.

Melta Bombs on Sorcerers is also not a bad idea as it gives you something to do when you have no infantry to shoot but there are some vehicles you can charge.

I hear such good things about Obliterators, but I went predators because I already have the models, and they are so good for the points. A heldrake is my next purchase, I think. Ill squeeze him into a 1500 list, at 1000 it seems a bit brutal, and I really don't have anything to trim to add him.

The thing about how I use my Obliterators is that they are not just good at shooting but I can throw them on an objective to contest or charge into combat so they are fire support and close combat support.
