Troops - Plague Marines: x2 additional troops, 2x meltaguns, Rhino = 223

Elites - Noise Marine: Blastmaster, 3x sonic blasters = 134

Heavy Support - Obliterators: x1 additional trooper, Mark of Nurgle = 152

Fast Attack - Chaos Bikers: x3 additional bikes, x2 meltaguns, Mark of Nurgle = 166

Total: 1003

Nothing particularly competitive, but it's able to win a fair few battles; however I want to take it to a more competitive level, preferably without having to use a Hellturkey. Any advice fellow Dakkanaughts?

EDIT: I am dead set on keeping the Noise Marines, as they are often the unit to perform the best in every battle.

What exactly is allowing to take plague marines as troops? U need Typhus or a lord with MoN. Sorc with MoN does not unlock anything but thousand sons.
