Well, at the weekend, we'll have a Team-Tournament.
A team consists of two armies, each 1000 pts, using the rules of allies.
I'll play Eldar together with DE. Both armies are primarily shooty:

Jetseer
5 DA w/ Serpent (scatter laser, shuricannon, holofield)
5 DA w/ Serpent (scatter laser, shuricannon, holofield)
5 FD w/ Serpent (scatter laser, shuricannon, holofield)
3 WW w/ scatter lasers.

I have just 115 pts to spend for the Jetseer (so no upgrades).
How about psychic powers?
I'd opt for the primary powers: psychic shriek, guide, and prescience.

Looks solid enough Wuest. If you needed some points(granted only 15 it would get you), you could drop the secondary weapon on the Walkers down to a Cannon. That'd let you at least Spear the Jetseer and have 10 points to add an upgrade somewhere....or you could just drop one Walker's weapon down for the Spear.

Farseer Faenyin
7,100 pts Yme-Loc Eldar(Apoc Included) / 5,700 pts (Non-Apoc)
Record for 6th Edition- Eldar: 25-4-2
Record for 7th Edition -
Eldar: 0-0-0 (Yes, I feel it is that bad)

Battlefleet Gothic: 2,750 pts of Craftworld Eldar
X-wing(Focusing on Imperials): CR90, 6 TIE Fighters, 4 TIE Interceptors, TIE Bomber, TIE Advanced, 4 X-wings, 3 A-wings, 3 B-wings, Y-wing, Z-95
Battletech: Battlion and Command Lance of 3025 Mechs(painted as 21st Rim Worlds)

Indeed, a spear would be reasonable.
But I'd like to cast psychic shriek (or any other shooty power) and so the spear is not mandatory.
I guess that laserlock doesn't work for double scatterlasers and so guide or prescience would be highly welcome.

Yeah. I'd still back down to the Cannons on the War Walkers that way if I roll something good on the charts they are more viable than leaning more toward the Primaris. I like the versatility of other options on the Div/Fate charts given by linking being near constant on evertyhing but the first 4 shots from the War Walkers. But this is more personal preference than a 'better build' than yours.

I also figure Spear would target a seperate type of enemy over Shriek(love killing Ork/Dark Angel bikers with this power..)

Well, I have no points for a spear.
The idea to give each Warwalker scatterlaser and shuricannon is tempting, but these weapons do not complement well due to different range.
So the plan is to cast guide or prescience to the Warwalkers.

Well, in the team tournament my friend Stephan played DE (1000 pts):

Haemonculus
3 Trueborn w/ Venom
5x 3 Warriors w/ Venom
2 Void Ravens

------------

First game against vanilla Marines led by Marneus Calgar and Space Wolves led by a Rune Priest. All Marines on foot. Vanilla Marines were mainly troops with rokkit launchers, Space Wolves had 2 packs of Long Fangs with missile launchers and lascannons.

Mission: Big guns never tire (5 objectives). Diagonal deployment.

Marines advanced to claim the objectives. Pointy ears stayed back to shoot the advancing Marines. At the end of the game, almost all Marines were dead. One Serpent downed and several Venoms. Big victory for Eldar/DE.

------------

Second game versus Necrons (Obyron, 6 Wraith, 2x 5 Immortals w/ NS, 2x 10 Warriors) and CSM (FMC, Khorne Lord on Juggernaut, Cultists, 2 Helldrakes).

Mission: Relic. Deployment: Cleanse.

We knew that we'll loose the game when we cannot destroy the Night Scythes. And we couldn't. Many hits but no glancing or penetration. So in round 5, Necrons were able to claim the relic. Loss.

------------

Third game vs. CSM (Kharne, FMC DP, 3x 8 Berzerkers in Rhinos, Helldrake) and Daemons (Bloodthirster, Blood Hounds, Blood Letters).

Mission: 3 objectives, one in the centre. Deployment: pitched battle.

Well, it was an uphill battle for the purely cc armies. Both FMCs went down early in the game, the (grounded) DP died from the shooting of a single Serpent! Big victory.

------------

Final standing with 10 teams: 4th place for Eldar/DE with 2 wins and 1 loss.

The Serpents are amazing. The tactics always was to put the shields down and fire all weapons after moving at most 6''.
In games 1 and 2 the Warwalkers died too early. In game 1, the enemy stole us first turn and the WWs were too close. My fault. In game 2, a teleporting unit of Warriors with Obyron destroyed them early.

I don't think you need guide and prescience, you only have 1 unit that needs twin linking

Double scatter lasers probably isn't as effective in this list as double star cannon would be. You have plenty of STR 6/7 from the serpents. bring some ap2. Twin link with the jetseer

Well guide and prescience were used for Warwalkers and one Venom since DE are battle brothers.
Double scatter lasers worked quite well, BS 4 and twin linking is insane.
