Subject: Thousand Sons Colors question

I will be receiving my 1000 sons converstion kits today. I already plan on painting the armor a light blue. The main question I have is for the "stripes" on the helm. I want to keep my models as fluffy/lore accurate as I can. Are the Stripes a more Light Yellow/Blue. Or Gold / Blue ?

I believe, and I could be wrong here, but the stripes themselves appear to be light yellow, and most of their trim is a yellow gold.

I also think this is correct. Not most, but all of the trim seems like gold.

Looking closely at the conversion kit on the GW it would seem the strips for both the helmets and the shoulder pads are a mustard yellow color. Definitely seeing some Earthshade wash in there too.

i've seen some good colour variations over the past using turquiose to some extent and they have looked pretty awesome.

As long as you use shades of blue/yellow, I think you'll be okay. Seeing as they're pawns of Tzeentch, I could even imagine the colors of their armor shifting and changing in maddeningly subtle ways.
