I don't usually post in showcase but I was really excited to recieve, paint and finish this figure, so I thought I would share CC welcome, I started painting 40K last October, and do really want to improve my painting.

The body and wing areas were airbrushed with brush work after, about 50/50.

I had intended the body to have a bit more colour - some of the layers were gray scale some of them were the sea gray colours, but I am happy how it turned out.
Sorry for the pics being slightly different shades, havn't figured out the camera 100%









(Wing joint broke appart during painting, taking the GS I'd used on the joins with it. I pinned it, botched it up with some liquid GS and it came off again. I do plan on fixing it at some point after a break)

Nice! I really like the colors on the mane and the eyes, they really pop. I am not sure I am a big fan of the color on the scorpion tail but it doesn't look bad to me. Nice job all around.

EDIT: I also like the base.

Normally I don't dig on manticores in general, but this is a sweet looking mini! I love the mane, by the way. Great job detailing the fur.
