Here's my conversion for Arjac. It's a more extensive conversion than I've done before. I think the rippers with tentacles match the description in fluff well, but I'd like to hear any comments or suggestions you all have on how he looks so far. He'll also have the cape from the WGT kit, and a largish Celtic shield from Scibor. I plan much goo and slime, especially coming from the one that's being stomped.

Well, they're supposed to be essentially baby Kraken, which typically are legless. They did have legs at one point, and for a few I've left the front most on because I thought it worked well.

The fluff describes thousands of these kraken spawn teeming out of the ocean onto an island the Iron Priests use, and while most cower, Arjac and a few others burst out to smite them until the Chapter can arrive.

Don't get me wrong, I salute your effort.
To me, at first glance, I though "look, he cut off all those heads", not " look at all those baby Kraken!".
Take it for what it's worth. That was just my impression, not something I would base your life around!

Do you have any ideas? I'm certainly open to suggestions.

I like it and maybe to emphasize the size of these baby Krakens you could have him strangling one with his spare hand?

Zande4: Thanks! I like the idea of that, I'm just not sure how I'd work it in. I have the shield arm done, it's just apart for ease of painting. Stomping one and strangling one would be awesome.

The more I look at them, the less obvious it is what they are. I think I'm going to remove them from the base until after I have Arjac and the base all painted up. That will make painting easier, and allow me to do the gut splatter around the one being stomped.

In the mean time, I'll regroup the tentacles closer together near the mouths rather than spread out like epileptic spiders.
