Hey

Guys, could you please clarify one moment. How a unit with the "brhotherhood of psykers" rule is affected by the Daemonic Posessions warpstorm throw (11)? Should we remove the entire unit or just one model? Is wapstorm 11 counted as an "attack" for these purposes?

Thanx!

Given it removes a model as a casualty, it is most certainly an attack.

As I'm currently looking at it, you'd resolve it like you'd resolve a Perils against the unit. If we treat Daemonic Possession as an attack that specifically targets Psykers (enemy Psyker must take LD 3d6 or be casualty seems so), then it would resolve against the Justicar/Character in the unit, or against a random dude if the character is dead.

Grey Knights Codex pg. 21, paraphrasing: If a GK unit suffers a Perils, or an attack that specifically targets Psykers, it's resolved against the Justicar or KotF, or a random non-char model if the Justicar or KotF is dead.

In a unit with the GK Brotherhood of Psykers, or the BRB Brotherhood of Psykers/Sorcerers, there is only ever "one" psyker at a given time. One model's Ld is used, and only a single model will suffer Perils.

One thing I do want you to keep in mind though is that daemonic possession is always resolved against one model. Even if the random model is a Psyker within a unit of Psykers you would still only remove that single model and not the whole unit. This would mean, in the brotherhood situation, you still only resolve the 'attack' against the character if he is alive or a single random model if he is not.
