hi there,
This was a battle played I played recently. Its not a comic batrep, but its easier to get batreps out if you just use prose. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Looks good to me dont know why there isnt much feed back.

Only thing I would suggest would be to be a bit more specific with regards to what happened with units and maybe to describe what the forge world unit does. Not many people are aware (me included) of their rules.

Well to be more specific without knowing the unit in question i feel id have to rewrite the report. So ask what was unclear and id love to answer.

As for the storm eagle its basically a stormraven (av12, front option for h boltr, mmelta, or tml, assault vehicle, ceramite plating) with the following exception, instead of a dread its got a total capacity of 20 and instead of aturret its got a two shot whirlwind launcher on its back and 4 hull pts otherwise exactly the same.

Seems like the Dark Angels will be promoting alot of marines to fill the losses of the Deathwing. I would like to see a rematch your libby would of made a huge difference.

I have no idea what I'm doing...

Well written I might suggest separating the fluff from the pictures a little and using the largest size of picture on Blogger it was a bit hard to see the battlefield w/o clicking them at times.

Nice report poly, I enjoy your blog reports thoroughly.

Nice report. Folks tend to be a bit of wary of following links to other sites away from Dakka, which might explain the lack of comments for a while.

Lovely painted miniatures on both sides and some good photographs.

Can I ask that you include the followers gadget on your blogspot page? Makes it easier for fellow bloggers *(like me) to keep track when the blog is updated.

Thanks for the great comments. i will be sure to add a widget as requested. An your point is well takenregarding the pics, this style of reports kind of needs the big pics.

Chance - gonna try and make it for the singles event well see if i can make it.

Which one? I'm in like tournament row. I had a GT this past weekend, a tournament this Saturday in ct, one next Saturday in plainville, then 2 weeks later there are 2 in NH I think haha.

And either which way it'll be cool to hang out and talk again. Get a rematch against those deathwing maybe. I'm not playing pure necrons anymore so it'll be interesting to see how I fare against you.

Just remember that units that can only consist of one model are never able to decline challenges.
I.E, a trygon or solo tyrant cannot decline a challenge, ever.

When your wife suggests roleplay as a result of your table top gaming... life just seems right

I took my wife thru the BRB for fantasy and 40k, the first thing she said was "AWESOME"... codex: Chaos Daemons Nurgle..... to all those who says God aint real....

I wasn't suggesting to rewrite the report. It was more for future reports you might do. I meant being more specific about what units did each turn. Unit A shot unit B etc etc. Just gives a clearer idea of the carnage. Thats my opinion anyways. Hope to see more !

The tyranid list FOC is all messed up. It should look like this:

Hive Fleet Ithacus

HQ
Hive tyrant wings, scything talons

Troops
Termaguants with devourers
Tervigon
Hormaguants

FA
Harpy
Shrikes x3
Gargoyles

Elites
Hive guard x2
Hive guard x2
Hive guard x2

Heavy
Trygon Prime

As an addendum to that note - Trygon Prime (which your opponent fielded) is a character so the above apples. Conversely a regular trygon is not, and cannot challenge or accept challenges.
