What area of So Cal? So Cal is a pretty big area from LA, Palm Springs and San Diego, and the High Desert 29 Palms area.

I actually would like to start playing too. I'm in the Oceanside area, if there is anyone else that has any experience and/or wants to get into it.

Well I know of a hobby shop down in riverside call GMI. But unfortunately I live in the Gaming wasteland know as the Coachella Valley And I/m about an hour away from Moreno Valley. So I wont be able to game with you.
