Been Around the Block





Creating my own little fellowship esque group of left over minis that Ive collected.

Whilst painting this guy, I cant decide what to do with the leather jerkin (currently brown), I feel like he desperately needs color, but I am not sure of what color would work.
I think I will be painting the grips of his handles red.

While he is still just a work in a progress and nothing is really done yet, any constructive feedback would be appreciated, be as critical as you like.

I don't think you need any more colour on the leather to be perfectly honest. Think it looks fine how it is, it's got the right amount of highlighting and I think adding more colour to it might reduce the overall quality of the model. If it were me painting it however I might have made the raised parts on the leather metal studs but other than that It looks really good how it is now. Then again I like the classic look of chainmail and leather
