Subject: Shadowrun - Cybernetic arms for enhanced MMA fighting?

Out of curiosity, is there a supplement out there for Shadowrun that allows the player to take cybernetic arms especially made for hand-to-hand fighting, boxing or something along those lines? Or better yet, do the rules make a distinction in limbs for this sort of thing? I couldn't find anything in the main book and I had no luck tracking down any of the splat books, as they're all hard to get around here.
Reason I'm asking is during my last session of SR I got in a MMA fight with another enhanced person and after blocking one of his attacks my arms more or less stopped working, which could either be due to my buddy sabotaging me (he needs me to throw the fight), or because I was "stupid" enough to get into the fight without the proper equipment, as in, cybernetic limbs especially made for this sort of thing.
Thanks in advance!

Wouldn't it just be your normal fighting skills tied in with the stats for the cyberlimbs you are using?

That's what I thought and what I did when my opponent (a cyber-enhanced MMA fighter) threw a punch at me: I blocked it, the impact of which messed up my arms bad enough that I could only throw kicks.
Just trying to find out if there really are that kind of cybernetic arms out there that are especially made for this sort of combat, covering my bases so to say, for when the GM tells me I was unprepared for this sort of fighting, because I needed arms from brand X to stand a chance in the ring.
So it's that, or when I was asked to leave the room I got fethed over good by my so-called buddy, who needs me to throw the fight and has somehow sabotaged me. It's supposed to be in the spirit of the game, but this just feels badong.

There's no such rule, so it's down to either GM fiat or your buddy "helping" you along and making sure you take the dive. EDIT: Well, that or he's got shock implants in the arms and short circuited your limbs. Still DM fiat, but very flavorful and I'd probably give my players extra dice or bonuses for trying something like that. Heck, I'd probably sic something like that on my players for giggles.

It's not shock implants that does it, we both got an inhibitor installed before the match to prevent the use of such implants, I've got a shock hand and spurs installed myself and they don't take your word for it that you'll keep them switched off.
But thanks for answering my question.
We'll see what happens next session, chances are I will go down regardless, as I'm on a hard -4 on all rolls due to the amount of damage and fatigue I took from not being able to defend myself properly.

Assuming the other guy is playing fair and hasn't found a way around the inhibitors himself.

Just have your hacker friend (I'm assuming you have one) hack his arms.

No we don't, which is something the GM keeps rubbing in. Right now it's two peeps, me as a Street Samurai and the other guy as a well, he's got the bad luck trait and really knows how to make the most of it. He's a jack of all trades but master of none really, plus his skills mainly come from skill chips he's addicted to.

Cyberarms could have enhanced strength and armor upgrades, which maybe could be hand-waved into what you're describing. However, there's nothing explicitly intended for MMA in SR1 - SR4.

Yeah, none that I can recall and I owned most of the SR4 non-adventure books. As stated above, you can kit out cyberlimbs with various weapons (spurs, guns, shock hands, go-go-gadget extenders, ability boosts, etc) but nothing that specifically makes you better at MMA. Is there a possibility that your "friend" or the GM hacked your arm? Cyberlimbs are wireless devices standard (for diagnostic reasons.. your arm occasionally needs a Win2075 update) and can be hacked unless you disable the wireless connection. The above assumes that you're playing in SR4 since SR5 came out this weekend.

Yeah, anyone who has Wifi enabled on their cyberlimbs (skinlink is there for a reason!) is asking for trouble in one of my games.

Yeah, we play SR4 and hell, I got crap for blindly accepting and installing software updates for my limbs.
But I think I got tricked by my buddy, as he did ask me to leave the room to do some sneaky rolling, so chances are he sabotaged me good. Or asked the mob to sabotage me instead.
I'm really tempted to just take the next blow and take the fall, as my budding career as a fighter is over before it began as this fight has turned me into a laughing stock.
