A much closer game, though his Wraithlord should have charged to help the Wraithguard out =(. Surprised the D-Scythe didn't do more damage as they ignore the armor and cover, did he just roll bad?

How did you guys like the flyers? I find they are too fragile for the points you pay for them =(.

You mentioned Farseer using Conceal against the D-scythes, that doesn't sound right.

I don't think he should have charged with the Wraithguard. If you shoot them and take them out, it took a lot of your shots. If you charge him, he gets great overwatch. Meanwhile, the are terrible in combat with only 1 attack.

I also think he spread his force too much. The turn one charge just meant you could focus on the imminent threats one at a time.

@redkeyboard - I agree that my opponent will beat in time... when? dunno... He is improving all the time.

@mortetvie - We had also talked about the wraithlord joining the fight in the center. It would have made a huge difference as that was my warlord in that unit.
I find the flyer price point alittle high... but I'll keep trying them out.

@Quark - What I meant was fortune & my inv save is what kept him alive. I was lucky that he didn't wipe the squad out. The dice rolls were with me...

You were lucky you had fortune vs those D-scythes, they usually just delete MEQ units.

Should the Wraithguard have been able to assault though? I dont think you're allowed too the turn after your transport is shot down (unless its open topped/assault).

I don't think the Wraithguard or most any unit can charge the turn after they leave a destroyed or wrecked transport unless it has an assault ramp... Maybe also if its open topped. A lot of people don't know this as its something new in the current edition.
