Interested in trying a Fortress of Redemption with my Tyranid army, but i have a few questions i cant come up with answers too. Looking for some help and support to bring to the table in my local meta, The Idea is to plant a squad of zoanthropes, and/or hiveguard in the fortress and use it as a synapse hub or firing point. My questions are.

1. Would the synapse range from my Zoanthropes inside the building be extended from the exterior of the building like other abilities that work from the hull of a transport such as banner of devistation?

2. Could the emplaced weapons on the building still fire automatically? The FAQ prevents my units from firing the weapons manually, but nothing i can find states the weapons cant fire themselves. If so could it still automatically fire interceptor, be it at BS2?

3. Would my venomthropes spore cloud affect units withing 6 inches of a building, again like banner of devistation and transports?

Never underestimate the Genestealers ability to sweeping advance EVERYTHING!

1. Embarking is treated the same as vehicles.
2. Yes.
3. I would say its much like the KFF.

A cool thing about putting Tyranids in a building is that they don't need to test for instinctive behaviour. That being said, I don't like buying fortifications for Tyranids as they're basically the opposite of a sit-back-and-shoot army. Apart from Biovores they just don't have the range.to be effective in that role.

You know what really bugs me? When my opponent, before they show up at the FLGS smears themselves in peanut butter and then makes blood sacrifices to Ashterai by slitting the throat of three male chickens and then smears the spatter pattern into the peanut butter to engrave sacred symbols into their chest and upper arms.
I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

"Long ago in a distant land, I, M'kar, the shape-shifting Master of Chaos, unleashed an unspeakable evil! But a foolish Grey Knight warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in space and flung him into the Warp, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to real-space, and undo the evil that is Chaos!"

So biovores in a bastion, could be interesting.
