This list is my brand new Chao Space Marine..
All feedback are welcome include critic are welcome. What did I missed?
Chao space marine - total = around 1000 pts

15 men chao space marine with two flamer ( I have extra space marine with two mission launcher and Sergeant.. Might used for heavy )

And I am think about paint it as felling angel as seen in dark angel codex, do anyone have picture of felling angel?.. But I like night lord armour theme but not logo.

Is there any way to convert chosen to termi? Maybe even just cut off the sweet power weapons from their hands and glue them to the termi tenticles. looks like you got the dark vengeance box.
U can put a jump pack onto the dual lightning claw chosen.
Chosen look awesome but are really bad. The few uses I figured out for them is to sneak a pf on not a champ so it dont die in a challenge. Taking 5 flamers. Getting hvy weapon or 4 spec weapons with 5 marines. They lost so much power from losing infiltrate.
U going to have just use chosen as champions for your csm.

Yeah I just got really cool Chao Space Marine out of dark vengeance box, that how I start like Chao Space Marine. And I brought other dark vengeance chosen from other person at bottom price as they don't want it.
I just brought Chao Space Marine Codex right after I build Chosen and helbrute, they look really good.
Really? Chosen are just a supermodel and really bad in battlefield? Heh.
I don't think so I can made chosen look like terminator, compare to my Dark angel and Blood angel...
May I ask, why chosen are really bad? Because I just compare Troop CSM and Elite Chosen, chosen can take varable weapon.. CSM are cheaper.. Automatically Appended Next Post: I just research more about chosen wargear, I didn't realise here are close combat only and one of them only have pisol and power axe. That mean this chosen squad only have two bolter! I won't want that tactic... I think it is good idea to remove lighing claw, power maul and power axe.. Add two bolter from other dark vengeance chosen to made four bolter chosen and add pistol / power axe for champion. This chosen become range chosen, other power axe shall join Chao Space marine as champion.. That leave out Power mauls and lighing claws...

I want to see some one pimpout all their bolter csm with that awesome chosen model.
For now you are stuck with extra champions.
Use the 4 bolter chosen + 1 chosen as champ to add to your 15 csm so you got 20. Split that into 2 10men squads and get them rhinos from people who are too afraid to lose first blood for cheap. Either use them to transport your csm or start the game with them empty for cultist.
U now have 4 troops.
Spend the rest of your points on very killy units. U can continue the cheapo route buying units nobody wants such as defiler, helbrutes, warptalons, possesed, maybe raptors, and predators. People should already have these assembled and painted but wanting to sell so they have cash to buy fiends, drakes, termi, spawns, bikers.
Remember, regular csm can be rebought and sloppy painted green so they become plague marines.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh I forgot about vindicators. Buy used rhino real cheap. Drill big hole in front, greenstuff the edges to make it look like a mutated growth, insert large tube to make it look like a demolisher cannon. U now have a daemonicly possesed vindicator!

Yeah, I like that. In that way I can keep cool model and have better army. I have two mission launcher and two flamer I can spilt them up and allow to wield that wargear for extra firepower.
Lucky I have three unbuilt dreadnought that I was plan to build for Blood Angel's Death Company Dreadnought.. And two unbuilt rinio from space marine battle force. And I have 2nd edition space marine tactic squad and 2nd edition terminators, and 2nd edition tyranids carnifexes Any good idea for those leftover model I haven't use? Heh.

Kit bash the tyranids with the marines, termi, dred on their bases & armor. Make your dred fight a few nids. Display your marines fighting nids too.
Safe route is to make marines, dred, and rhino unaltered and share a paint scheme with blood angles so you can use them interchangbly.
Magnetize/pin the front of the rhino so you can swap it out to be a vindicator. Do not glue top on so it can be razorback or pred turrent. Do not glue door so you can have side hb or lc.

Share marine with other chapter? Nah. Blood Angel and Dark Angel already have too many space marine with uniques icons on shoulder badge.
I guess I'll try kit bash my old cernfexes play as chao spawn, because I have modern cernfexes.. and my old 2nd edition space marine has been lay around too long, I guess green stuff are good idea for 2nd edition space marine. Try made them look like chosen, then it should look really good! Or maybe paint every single chapter in space marine codex and weather damage wear&tear on armour showing that space marine don't spend too much time in warp space. Because in Chao Space Marine codex I read, if space marine spend too much time in Chao warp space it transform space marine and bond armour into fresh. This will work on my space marine!
Terminator are very small than modern terminator, so green stuff are a way to upgrade them.
I guess I'll try create one helbrute out of my space marine dreadnought. Because there are no helbrute in store, correct?
And finally, rhino... I might like your idea about removable tank... Good job i didn't glue top/door and side door for my metal Baal predator! Heh.

Some quick points:
I don't like 10 men cultists units. They die like flies and are easily swept, especially for us that are used to Power Armour and high leadership. I do really suggest at least 20 men per unit (hence, take the 3 units and merge into one)
Flamers are an assault weapon that require short range and swift movement. Missile launchers (i believe you meant that with mission launcher...) are heavy weapon, thus you need to be stationary. The only situation in which this can be considered ok is if you want you CSM to camp on an objective and use the flamers as anti-charge weapon. If this is the case then drop the missile launcher and take something better like an autocannon or lascannon. Otherwise drop both weapons and take 2 meltaguns or 2 plasmaguns.
Hellbrutes are not swift jetbikes, they will need many turns to reach close combat. Hence you need them to have at least one long-range weapon, otherwise they'll probably dead before having killed even one model.
You need more mobility! You can't advance 6" per turn with the whole army. A gunline list will kill half of your army before you reach the 12" (which is where CSM are most effective, because of the double shot of rapid fire weapons and because are better in CC than the average xenos)
I'd suggest something like this:
Lord with 20 cultists, making them fearless and slowly advancing
10 CSM with Mark of Nurgle, 2x Plasmaguns and Chaos Rhino
10 CSM with Mark of Nurgle, 2x Plasmaguns and Chaos Rhino
2x Hellbrute

Alright... I guess I'll try add pisol for Daemonettes of Slaanesh model.. (There are other topic - http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/540682.page )
Then Slaanesh model can mixed with cultist with auto pistol and close combat. That made 20 cultist for single troop unit.
And other cultist have autoguns which are only 10... Until I can borrow guardsman from imperial guard. I have over 40 guardsman and 20 storm trooper. Then I can mixed guardsman with chao cultist and label every gun as autoguns instead of lasgun.
Or I have to buy more cultist....
About helbrute, I thought helbrute are similar to blood angel furioso dreadnought? I have a lot of kills with double close combat and win the battle.. ( well, maybe that because I have battle with easy enemy?)
But I already have multi melta helbrute and it is not long range gun... Maybe I'll use it for get closer to enemy. Autocannon are good idea and lucky I have one left spare part of auto cannon.
About Chao Space Marine, hey.. I just realise that I never use flamer in squad with missile launcher on my blood angel since 2nd edition! Silly me....
Then one squad shall have two flamer and close combat weapon/pistol and bolter squad chao marine and other squad shall become heavy: harvo with two missile launcher.
Better? Or worse? Heh.

Right, just got back from my workshop with full of warhammer 40k stuff... ( which are 15 miles away (I use storage to keep our house tidy and mess free for my wife..  ))
I've sort out my new Chao Space Marine models and units.
a pure chaos unit :-

Chao Space Marine - 10 men, all take Close Combat and two flamers. ( bolt pistol, bolter and axe / knife / chainswords )
Chao Space Marine - 11 men and a power fist. ( all bolter only. )
Cultists - 20 cultist, close combat and a flamer.
Cultists - 10 cultist, all have autogun, champion have shotgun and one heavy stubber.
Elite
Helbrute - multi melta
Helbrute - Autocannon and missile launcher
Heavy
Havocs - 5 men, power maul and two missile launcher.
Transport
Rhino x 2.
the tactic is autogun cultist take cover for the havocs while close combat cultist lead by chao lord getting cover by cover to reach scout or range unit. Chao Space Marine advance into stronger unit and havocs do cover fire for Chao Space Marine. Multi-Melta Helbrute go with close combat Chao Space Marine while autocannon Helbrute on other side of board from havocs.
I still have many unused model I can add more unit to this Chao Space Marine.
Option :
- corrupt guardman to add more autogun cultist. - ideal to share a model between two races.
- rebulit terminator squad and add chaos details with greenstuff to add Chaos terminator squad - 5 men.
- greenstuff the DV power maul character into dark apostle or sorcerer.
- add more helbrute.

For CSM troop,
Chao marine with bolt gun should be 10 men squad, pick one of chosen CSM for champion.
Other 2 bolt gun CSM should join 2 missile launcher and become heavy - harvo. Pick one of chosen for champion.
Or
Chao marine with close combat weapon and two flamer can join with chao marine with bolt gun and use it to prefer in close combat and medium range.
6 of chosen CSM can join troop. Because they look similar to my normal CSM now.
