Quick responses please, I can't find a discussion through the search bar. I want to buy a lot of Power swords, does anyone have any websites they know of that they could share? This is driving me mad.

I've been looking into purchasing some bits myself recently & there are still a few sites out there. You can find bits on ebay, hoard o bitz etc. Games Workshop has made it more difficult for sites to sell bits as of late as I understand so inventories are generally low.

Don't forget theres always the off brand guys! Some companies actually do some excellent work, alot of them are in the ad space in your upper right corner on the forum. Infact, I bought myself some lovely gladius with nice big "omega" symbols on them for my ultras, top stuff too with decent resin and cheap, i think it may have been from anvil. Also check out thewarstore.com and look into their GW bits section, they have a link to "alternate" bitz you can get from a dozen companies that can pretty much fill your needs.

Its sad that by making it harder for people to sell bitz GW is going to force us to go to other manufacturers. The least they could do would be to actually sell their own freakin bits on their website!

If you're looking into lots of power swords, I'd recommend 3rd party companies (like Anvil Industries, Kromlech, Maxmini, Chapterhouse, etc). You'll get a better variety of swords than simply 'blade with an aquila hilt', and your army will look better for it.

grey knight boxes have so many extra sword bits its probally a good investment for sevaral reasons, for the swords obviosly and you can make your guys if you play marines have cooler helmets and shoulder pads

one thing i know a lot of players do in my area is bring spare bits to your game area, people usualy are wiling to trade bits for bits, i dont know to many people who wouldnt trade 3-4 powerswords for a spare railgun or something like that that you might have lying around that you dont intend on using.

I'm personally fond of Bitzbox. http://www.bitzbox.co.uk/ They're in the UK, but still get me stuff very quickly here in the States, plus they sell GW, Forgeworld, and several other 3rd party bitz all on the same site.

In addition to these, Puppets War makes some excellent power weapons.

Or contact some people who run Paladins or GKTs...5 GKTs come with 10 Falchions...for every 5 Termies I was able to convert 10 metal PAGK into sword guys
