This man is really incredible!
He spent only 2 Hours to finish a painted ork, and only half an hour is on the painting work
http://resin-kit.com/warhammer-40k-painting-tutorial-orks-with-mostly-washes/
which is fromhttp://resin-kit.com/

Here're the steps and the time he took on them:
1.Pre-shading

2.Skin

3.Weapons & armor

4.Cloth & metal wash

5.Red details

6.Goff checkers

7.Metal drybrush highlights

8.Tongue & gums

9.Finish the ork

10.Basing & total time spent

Is that possible doing that without any mistakes?
I always make some mistakes that stop me when painting........

Can do it faster with normal painting, base - dark angels green(equiliant today) - warpstone glow- mix of warpstone/moot, and finish of with edge highlighting of moot.

painting several at the time makes it go faster^^ and he needs sum red clothing to paint him even faster CUZ RED GOES FASTAH!.

Also, funny how it seems your forum name is named the same as the content given in your thread... if you wanna advertise something of your own dont say ¨this guy¨

I can paint an Ork faster than that. However, that may be something to do with the fact that the Orks I paint are Evil Sunz and, as we all know, red wunz go fasta!

That seems exceptional slow, in a batch mode, he would be on par with me, and I don't use wash painting style.

If you want to paint your horde army faster, and have lots of meh gubbins on guys, use a color base coat and wash. Skip extreme highlights and things, it won't help when you have hundreds of them running around.

So most of you guys spent less time to make one ork like that in the video?
I can spend less time only when I skip some steps like metal wash and highlights, I think they cost me lots of time and efforts, and sometimes I don't get what I want in the end......

I misunderstood the topic... I thought it was talking about eating a Warhammer Ork... because I can tell you that its pretty tough going down... and out.

I have painted almost all of a KOW orc army like this and I find it faster than conventional techniques and more importantly much more forgiving.

For the level of result you get this method is very very effective. I recomend the old orc flesh wash in the 18ml hex pots as I find this a much richer green and makes the skin look less washed out.

I can paint an Ork to a reasonable standard far quicker than that. Both with standard paints and with a wash style.

Though when I do it with washes, I get an interesting 'kids fairy tale' colour scheme which looks nice but clashes horribly with the neon green of the table grass.
