Subject: Puppet's War new releases (Update pg 17: Big Cyber Beetle)
Since you have to use the bigger attack bike base anyway, you would always have the option of mounting a regular bike and a HW bike on it. Two riders/bikes, two weapons.
Of course that makes the price jump up a bit, but it might look better than having a lot of bikes on small bases, and one on a big base by itself.

That is a huge generalisation that's rather insulting to those of us who do make an effort to make our models fit the rules. 'Counts as' shouldn't be seen as free reign to model something however you want... it should still fit the rules, and have a similar table presence to the model it is replacing.
I'm not a RAW nut. I'm most certainly not a WAAC player. But if you put an attack bike on the table that only has a single rider, I'd like to see some sort of effort made towards explaining how that single rider counts as two guys.

Tack on a servo skull head. Huzzah!

That would do it, yes. Or, as I mentioned, some sort of sensor unit to represent a machine spirit of some kind. It just would have been nice to see something like that on the model to begin with, rather than it being something that needs to be added.

One of the pictures on the website shows that the front cover is optional and that nestled between the 'bolters' is a sort of sensor thing with two sizeable lenses. Machine spirit?

They probably didn't think about GW rules, since these are stand alone models and not 'space marines'

I'm a big fan of puppetswar. I have nothing but great things to say. I'm on the east coast and my orders typically arrive in two weeks. I like their resin a lot better than finecast and I think it's just as good as Forgeworld if not better.
Do not fear

What about the attack bike's current rules means that it must have two models involved? Don't the bike's rules just cover all of it's weapons firing when it moves?
These heavy bikes are amazing. If I was still a regular 40k player, I'd build a whole bike army out of them.
Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

No. As I already mentioned, the bike rules allow them to fire one weapon per rider.

Wow... those arms actually look really good on a dreadnought.
I like the bikes as well. Insaniak has a good point about adding a sensor atop it to represent "something else" firing it. I wouldn't personally think it's necessary, but it couldn't hurt, either!
So beautiful... and 10 euros actually seems reasonable.
I do like them, although making my TS Scouts hunch forward might be a bit problematic. The only downside is still the lack of grenade launchers though.
Looking at the dreadnought in the video makes me look forward to seeing how these arms look on the Construct though.

I am tired and done with this company. Almost 5 weeks and no package, the "tracking number" states the package never left the originating country. Stated they would ship out a second package last week and haven't responded since then after several emails.
If you've got problems with your national post, there's plenty of third parties.
I'm just glad the actual gw models are coming so I don't have to deal with this absurd company.
That's just a hundred dollars wasted. Thanks puppets war!

That is unfortunate - hopefully this is eventually resolved to your satisfaction.

Keep us up to date on the shipping status, please!
I'm interested to see how your experience with them turns out!

I think (hope) that they're doing a full set for their "Egyptian Gods" theme. I'm holding out hope that they decide to do an Egyptian-themed not-bolter as well.
Isn't there another company that already makes wolfs-head shoulderpads?

My stuff took 2-3 weeks, as promised.

There very well may be, but I seem to remember only seeing shoulderpads that would be fitting for a Primarch. However, the look of these snake-head shoulderpads look fantastic, and I'd love to see a wolf version, as these are perfectly suitable (ie. not overly ornate) for giving to grunts.

I'll do the same. I made a 300 dollar order on the 22nd and I'm tracking how long it takes to get here. Right now it was a bit over a week to even ship, so we'll see.

Hello,
Due to the still increasing number of orders per month, we are trying our best to send all orders within 7 days of receiving the payment. After that the Post Office does it's magic.
Also we will work on wolf shoulder guards - since you guys want it that much

So tempted to get a set of those lion pads just to do a squad of marines as Brit-Cit Judges.

Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us.
