Title. Pretty much. What size is supposed to be? Trygon/flyrant sized? Shrike/warrior sized? There doesn't seem to be any clarification on this. What size base would it be on? Is it pretty much open to interpretation on my end since an official model doesnt exist?

I've seen people make them out of trygon/mawloc and I think the fluff compares them to the trygon (though its supposed to be hollow). That size just about demands a flyer base but I'm not sure if a CC MC should have such a large base either.

I'm not sure if I've seen one lately, but I think people may also convert the flyrant model into them too.

Warrior is probably the right size for the parasite of motrex (though a tad bigger would be swell since its a special character etc), but I'm not sure you could get away with a warrior-based Harpy... unless it was made out parts of multiple warriors (2-3x torsos) and then you'd still want bigger arms from other kits.

If I were going to do it, and I would probably want at least a pair if any, I think the flyrant may be the most resource effective base model. It comes with wings, a Trygon based model would be super awesome, but you'd have to get it some wings and it just starts to get so expensive.,,

Right in the middle of a shrike and a trygon. I'd say slightly smaller than a tyrant, but more imposing and with bigger wings. I'd start with any model around that size, probably a flyrant, and green stuff it a really long tail and arms.

Yeah, i was thinking of making one from a trygon frame. But didnt know if that was too big of a base to start from. I'd give it flyrant wings and whatnot. I also considered making one from a body of a tervigon/tfex. Adding in the scything talons for hind legs, and adding in the weapons and whatnot.

My only trouble with that is I don't have an idea of how to complete one thing on it. It has a TL gun, which is typically modeled with two of the same gun. Fine, that works. But, the guns are all right armed. How can i make it fit on a left arm without it looking silly?

I used a carnifex body for mine. I thought the trygon torso would be too big. I used the flyrsnt wings and lower body. I made one before with the baltog wings and I think they looked better.
