Hey everyone! Just stumbled across this place recently, while looking for strategies on how to beat up on some dirty IG player I know.

Don't think I'll bring anything new to the table. Just another vanilla space marine (Salamanders) army player that doesn't know how to paint.

Yeah, it is! I got some flare from the locals about the green being more Dark Angels-like than Salamander-like.

Kinda derped when I painted my first marine and forgot to add the snot green layer paint before moving on and ended up loving it anyway.

I love the darker green as it goes better with all the gold and fire! Hopefully someone shares my view of a personalized army being the better way.

...at least that's how I'm justifying it.
