No FAQ updates since April, looks like we are returning back to the dark days.

I don't think GW ever changed its business model or systems. Just be patient and when that crucial rules dilemma that may or may not be solved by your FAQ happens, figure out a best solution.

Given the two months per codex as afar as the eye can see I can safely say that you're jumping the shark here.

They will put up some new FAQ's once the new SM codex drops. The FAQ will be in regards to what a combat knife is, why your loyalist astartes don't get one, and the fact that space marines can still take stormtalons and stormravens. Lastly, they will ammend the book to show that yes, the printing of the Land Raider Phobos and Drop Pod were typo'd again, but their cap will still be 12 for funsies.

Don't troll, people.

I, at least, understand the OP's point. For a few months, we had frequent FAQ updates, actually addressing rules questions that were commonly occurring. From about the Tau codex onward, that stopped cold.

Thank you, I was looking at dates on my FAQ's and saw the same thing. Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr FAQ's then nothing. I hope they start doing frequent FAQ's again they were very helpful, and it seemed like many of the questions were even fished from dakka's own forums.

so, until then, you'll have to compromise and work with rules issues with your opponents, just like every other FAQ-less rule.

Well didn't GW have a FAQ before a codex was released? That is not falling into the old GW pattern.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?
