Hey,

Ive had both an avid interest for this hobby and LEGO and I have been attempting to combine the two to a compromise. So far it has worked with mostly models fro the IG but of you guys have any tutorials or ideas please share. Love it if there were others interested in the same thing and hopefully we could make Lego 40k a bit more popular.

Thanks.

There's a lot of stuff on lego 40k over here:

In all seriousness though, it is a very popular thing to do (use legos to replicate 40k), can be just as expensive depending on how particular for pieces you are and looks pretty cool.

Brikwars.

Been a fan of it for a long time.
I even did it before I realised there was a site for it.

Brickarms do LOTS of different weapons, too.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

I almost started a Lego Tau army. With all the newer Lego sets coming out there is ample opportunity for some excellent recreations of iconic 40k models.
