I bought me an assault on black reach set about a year ago because some guy at the hobby store said he played it and was forming a group to play games, well after i finally at least glued my pieces together he got a job offer in another town and was unable to form the group. I live in arlington texas and i'm looking to have a weekly game night somewhere i don't know too much about the game i got the very basics down when i first got the set but i haven't touched them in months i have also aquired a few extra space marines and was given some other few pieces of names i don't know (litereally been that long since i've last looked at this stuff) this is my last effort to try and find a group that is willing to add me to their list and help me find my way through this game, if not i will also offer the option of selling these items to anybody who would want them. pls e-mail me at david_hans1991@yahoo.com

Well you could try store finder on gw or dakka, then go and see if there's a gaming group there... Hope you find some one, always sad when people quit because of stuff like that.:(

I've never even been to TX, but I can easily say that in a metropolitan area of 6 million people. there are going to be at least a few hobby stores that sell GW stuff that have a 40k night.

I'd express concern that you might need to drive a bit around the metro area, were it not for the fact that the DFW area is one of the most drivable cities in the country.

Reaper headquarters is only about an hour away in Denton. I believe they host weekly paint clubs where you could probably find people to start a group with.

Check out dfw40k.com

They have a listing for many local gaming stores, you may find something close to Arlington.

I plan in North Dallas, so about a 45 minute drive, depending on traffic. Thursday nights at Gunslinger games is a good 40k night, and they are good to new players. Won't be there tonight due to other commitments, but there is usually 5-7 people there.

Anyhow, take a look at the dfw40k site - it lists 7-8 different stores in the area.

Good luck!
