Rejuvenat. Warp-travel time.

Rejuve is the most likely. It only works so far, for so long. So if he was already fairly elderly when he began rejuve treatment, it would not take him from, say, 75 to 40, and has time has gone on, he's simply staying in place, at best, at worst his apparent age is slowly creeping forward.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.
