I had a game today against Dark angels and my opponent ran a speeder in with his bikes.

There was nothing in the rulebook we could find at the time to deal with shooting at this unit, later I had a good read through it. Would you use the shooting at squadrons rule and resolve each shot at a time.

So shoot at unit, get the hits then roll them one at a time to either wound the closest model, or see i it glances/pens the speeder?

Are there any other units that would do this in 40K, It seems like another broken rule.

As per the Ravenwing Combat Squads rule, although the squad may purchase 1 Attack Bike and 1 Land Speeder, these are for all intents and purposes separate units and as such must be deployed separately.

Codex Dark Angels, Page 47;

Ravenwing Combat Squads:

"The squadron's Attack Bike and Land Speeder are purchased together with the squadron's bikes, but from then on the always operate as completely independent units of one model."

Your problem is a non-issue.
