The discussion of the fluff and how the different races are spread out in the warhammer world. Am I understanding this right that both the tomb kings and lizard men both are from very remote areas and want to be left alone.. If that is the case, that means all the other armies pack up to go and fight them..plus that means that tomb king and lizard men would never fight..

This really doesnt make a great deal of sense. But there is really quite a massive amount of fluff that involves both Tomb Kings and Lizardmen branching out, and fighting all the time
(Lizardmen to a lesser extent, but still prevelent.)

Most armies who fight Lizardmen do seek them out, but the Ancient Tomb Kings, before the curse and Nagesh and the like, had an Empire that extended almost unto the boarders of the Empire, they were conquerers. Lizardmen and Tomb Kings also both fought a good deal in the Southlands.

Right. Almost all of the fluff justification of those two races going to war seems to involve recovering some super sacred artifact that has been plundered and brought to the old world.

Fantasy: 4000 - WoC, 1500 - VC, 1500 - Beastmen
40k: 2000 - White Scars
Hordes: 5/100 - Circle of Orboros

They fluffed reasons for every army to fight every army including itself. And even if they didn't explicitly state some, there's enough room to do it yourself.

TK-some robbed a tomb, they're on the way to get back the lewts, they run into ______ and make comments about each others' mothers.

Lizardmen-A sacred plaque or Slann meditation-dream says ______. That is justification to do anything whatsoever.

Yeaah, the Lizardmen one is pretty true. Same with the Tomb Kings one, but it can get a little messy regarding them.

If the Lizardmen actively go out to fight its usually because a plaque needs recovering or a Slann (Mazdamundi in a lot of the army book fluff) has decided to correct flaws in the Old Ones plans.

Though I'd much rather read about a Saurus leader getting horrendously drunk and deciding the Orcs need a whupping...

Lizardmen and Tomb Kings are both world famous for having giant hordes of gold and riches for people to plunder. Hence lots of fighting.

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

The Tomb Kings do occasionally leave and go conquering other places.

They are acting exactly like they did when they were alive, even so far as to make their subjects do menial tasks like drawing water. So its not unheard of for them to go elsewhere in the world. They also hate the Vampires and will attack them if able.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.
