Upon finishing this movie last night, I immediately began searching for figures or models to play some conversions and proxies. These are so cool! 7" detailed mechs for $20 on ebay? Wraithknight, riptide, etc. The bigger proposed model could represent a Titan with a little work. And those Kaiju? Tyranids, so easily!

What do you guys think about the fun / legality of playing these figures in proxy?

I don't think that they fit the 40k aesthetic, at all.

I am currently taking commissions.

The crimson typhoon would make a decent riptide.

Churno alpha, the russian jaeger, seemed clunky enough to be imperial to me.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

I think they'd need a lot of work to represent anything except tau. Although they do have potential

They have potential, but I'd rather make 40K conversions of them because it's way more fun.

Movie was really great, the Kaiju reminded me of Tyranids in some aspects, specifically onibaba, yet somehow Orks came to mind while looking at the Jaegers, especially Cherno Alpha.
