If you pump a lore of beasts spell to be area of affect and it includes at least one target on the list for the lore attribute, does the attribute take affect? Or does it only work on single target spells?

The attribute specifically says that you need to target "one or more" (of the above mentionned list), and the boosted spells "target all characters within 12", so yes, you only need a single corresponding target to benefit from the attribute
