Unhealthy Competition With Other Legions

I have to be honest in saying I am not sure on the "Extreme" OSL, from what I gathered assembling one of these, the pieces on his chest are intakes, as well as the pieces on the top of the backpack, an intake should not glow.
The actual lighting is just a bit off too, the hard edges around those pieces would stop the light from traveling that far out, essentially creating "Shadows" where the light would stop and not bleed out over the edges like that, especially as drastically as it is onto the backpack. I have to mention the same about the rifle, it doesn't look like the barrels are glowing so much as it looks like they just spattered some blue paint on the end of a gun. Was there a theory behind making the backs of the missile pods glowing blue? to me they wouldn't glow at all unless a missile was being fired.
I hope this doesn't come off as making me sound like a complete dick, I just see a lot of stuff like this and try to give my .02 in regard to how the light would actually travel.
My only other comment would be to look at thinning out some of your paints, around the top of the chest and the Tau symbol gold just looks a bit think and brush strokey.

"You are like a son and together we have all but conquered the galaxy. Now the time has come for me to retire to Terra. My work as a soldier is done and now passes to you for I have great tasks to perform in my earthly sanctum. I name you Warmaster and from this day forth all of my armies and generals shall take orders from you as if the words came from mine own mouth. But words of caution I have for you for your brother Primarchs are strong of will, of thought and of action.

I'm going to have to agree with Brokksamson...the OSL just isn't working out. It looks over-done, and the way you've painted it doesn't fall in line with the way light behaves.
The pose looks...off. The right foot looks oddly placed, almost like it's in the process of slipping off of that terrain piece. The torso position further reinforces the looks that it slipped and is about to fall flat on its back.
I'll second the advice in thinning your paints. Multiple thin layers will make a huge difference in the final look of the model.
Some advice in working with waterslide decals: give your model a gloss varnish before applying the decals. Once you've placed and let the decals set, spray a coat of flat (matte) varnish over that. This will help the decals blend in with the model, rather than have those shiny border edges show through. Trimming the excess decal material will also help in making them disappear.
My last bit of advice is to take it slow with building this model. I am seeing nearly all of the seams between the parts showing very clearly. Rubber bands, gap filler, and patience are your best friends with this model. Make sure you take the time to apply that thin layer of plastic glue on all joining surfaces, then firmly set them in place and wrap tightly with rubber bands. Once the glue has set, go back over the seams with an emery board (or similar sanding medium), then apply some gap filler (or green stuff) over the seams. Let it dry, then sand again with a fine grit to make those seams disappear. This model has seams in some of the worst and most obvious places, and when they stick out, it really detracts from the overall appearance of the model.
Again, patience and a methodical approach are key when building a model, especially one of this size. Hope my advice helps!

Sorry, I have to agree with the above 2 posters as well, it is something that has always bothered me about OSL..... alot of the time it gets used where it shouldn't, just because people can and think it'll get them extra 'brownie points' when IMO it just ruins a perfectly good paint job. (Rant over, and it's not aimed at anyone in particular lol) Other then that good job.

Whether its OSL or not, I think it adds something to what might otherwise be a boring model. I think you did pretty awesome.
