Hello folks!
I've just recently joined this fine forum, though I've been painting models since I was in 4th grade (I'm 25 now..

), I'm from Sweden and currently involved in university studies.
My latest project was the 25th anniversary model of Harry the Hammer that I posted in the showcase section, so check it out if interest peaks.
It took me 6 years to finish that model, as I haven't painted anything for that long, but I feel painting minis is still a lot of fun and a break from my other interests (I'm a knifemaker too!).
I'm not an army collector/painter, I like painting single models to high standards, and it just hit me how much fun it would be to fill up a display case or cabinet with nice models!
One of the projects I would like to do is to make a diorama, but for now I will try to just find time to paint some models in general..
So a lot happened since I was last dabbling with the arts; a lot of new products and paints and whatnot makes me feel like I'm lagging behind
For instance the new wash paints that
GW and others sell seem to give the same results as hours of layering that I usually do. I cant help but feel that the "pro painting" community would frown upon using these things too much?
Well, you probably didn't bother reading everything anyway, so see you on the boards!
Cheers!
